👥 Managing Users and Devices

As an admin, you can manage user accounts, assign licenses, reset passwords, and control access to devices via Microsoft Intune. Here's how.

👤 Manage Users

Add a User

1. Go to admin.microsoft.com
2. Navigate to Users > Active users
3. Click “Add a user”
4. Enter name, username, and assign product license (e.g., Microsoft 365 Business Basic)
5. Set temporary password (auto-generated)

Reset a User’s Password

Go to Users > Active users → Select the user → Click Reset password.

Assign or Remove Licenses

Select the user → Choose Licenses and Apps → Modify license assignments → Save changes.

📱 Manage Devices

Using Microsoft Intune

1. Go to Microsoft Endpoint Manager
2. Sign in with Global Admin credentials
3. Click Devices to view enrolled mobile/PC devices
4. You can block, wipe, or retire devices remotely

Enable MDM policies to enforce device compliance (PIN, encryption, app protection) for iOS, Android, and Windows.
